To provide you with superior service, inform you of product and service opportunities that may be of interest to you and for other business purposes, Generation Mortgage Company, may disclose all of the information that we collect about you, as described above, to affiliate financial service providers (an "affiliate company" or "affiliate" is a company that we own or control, or that is commonly owned or controlled by our parent holding company) such as California Reverse Mortgage Co. Unless you are a resident of California, Generation Mortgage Company may also disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing arrangements.

Unless you are a resident of California or Vermont, from time to time, Generation Mortgage Company may disclose all of the information that we collect, as described above, with a non-affiliated third party that we believe can offer a product or a service of possible interest to you (please see opt out options below). - Financial service providers, such as mortgage bankers, insurance agents and underwriters.

Your Right to Opt Out of Disclosures of Credit Eligibility Information to Generation Mortgage Company Corporate Affiliates and/or Non-public Personal Information to Non-Affiliated Third Parties
We respect your choices related to privacy. You may tell us not to share credit eligibility information with Generation Mortgage Company corporate affiliates and/or not to share any non-public personal information with non-affiliated third parties. If you wish to opt out of such information sharing, please inform us as follows:

Note: Even if you exercise your right to opt out as discussed above, Generation Mortgage Company may share information about you with its corporate affiliates and with non-affiliated third parties as permitted by law. For example, corporate affiliates are permitted to share with each other information about their respective transactions and experiences with you (such as your account balance).

If you are a resident of California or Vermont, Generation Mortgage Company, will obtain your consent prior to disclosing your non-public personal information to non-affiliated third parties, except to the extent that sharing such information is required or permitted by law.
Our Former Customers
After you are no longer a customer of Generation Mortgage Company, we will continue to treat the non-public personal information we have about you as if you were still our customer.

When you submit an application for credit, Generation Mortgage Company is required to ask for your name, date of birth, residential address, a mailing address (if different), social security number and other information that will allow us to identify you. Generation Mortgage Company may also ask to see your diver's license or other identifying documents and use resources such as credit bureaus or other means to verify this identity information.
How You Can Help Protect Your Privacy
You can help protect the confidentiality of your personal information and your account with us by following a few basic guidelines. Remember that Generation Mortgage Company will never call and ask you for personal account information that we already know. If you call us, we will ask you to confirm personal information to establish your identity before we release information about your account. Contact us at 1-866-733-6090 to report any unusual or suspicious request for confidential information from some one who claims to be a Generation Mortgage Company employee. If you receive one of these requests, ask the caller for their name and telephone number, hang up and call Generation Mortgage Company to verify the identity of the caller. Never give out account information, credit card or social security numbers, mother's maiden name or other personal information to some one you don't know, unless you initiate the contact. Be sure to receive and review your account statements on a timely basis. Fraud can involve attempts to change your address so you never see the fraudulent transactions on your account statement. Make sure that you have authorized all of the charges made to your account and report any discrepancies.
